Beaches and Islets

Pedi Bay: Some sand, some shingle, tavern’s, café-bars. Sun-beds and umbrellas available. Reached by walk from Chorio, taxi or taxi-boat from Yialos.

Agios Giorgios Bay: Deep bay ringed by high cliffs. Shingle. No facilities, little shade. Reached only by taxi-boats or excursion boats.

Nanou Bay: Big, sweeping bay; very popular. Large pebble/shingle beach. Taverns, sunbeds and umbrellas available. Best reached by taxi-boat or excursion boat.

Marathounda Bay: Pebbled beach, no facilities. Best reached by excursion boat or car.

Panormitis Bay: Swimming from the harbourside or small shingle/sand beach. Taverns. Best reached by excursion boats or car.

Sesklia Island: There is a shingle beach with good shade and swimming conditions but no facilities. Only reached by boat.

Agios Emilianos Bay: Large shingle bay. no facilities, but attractive monastery. Best reached by excursion boats or guided walk.

Nimborios: Large pleasant bay: some sand, mainly pebbles. Taverns, sunbeds and umbrellas. Reached by road or taxi boats.

Agios Nikolaos Bay: Sandy with tavern and sun-beds. Shade provided by trees. Walk from Pedi or taxi-boat.

Agia Marina: Small, picturesque bay between Pedi and Yialos, reachable by taxi boat from Yialos and Pedi.
